FAQ
Udrive lets you rent cars for self-drive. Use the mobile app to find a car near you on the street, unlock it, and start driving. End your trip in any official parking area in the city. Enjoy free fuel, free parking, full insurance, and no registration fees, no deposits, and no hidden charges.
Udrive is open to both residents and tourists. Residents need a physical copy of their UAE driving license and Emirates ID. Tourists require a physical copy of their passport and a valid driving license or international permit to pass the registration.
Udrive has no registration fees, no deposits, and no hidden charges. However, additional costs may apply for fines from authorities, Salik tolls, parking violations, and excess kilometer charges.
Parking areas are listed on the app, depending on the city where the car is located. Simply check the app to find the nearest official parking zone.
For Dubai, refuel at ENOC or EPPCO stations. For Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Ajman, use ADNOC stations. Simply let the staff know you have a VIP chip in the car, and they will refuel it for you. No payment is needed—just fuel up and continue your journey.
Every trip includes basic insurance with an excess fee, and you can upgrade to Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) or Full Damage Coverage (FDC) for extra protection. If you have an accident or the car is damaged, first ensure you are safe and contact the local authorities. Use the “Report Accident/Damage” feature on the app to submit a police report. Residents can upload the report directly, while tourists must visit a police station. Send copies and images to [email protected].
Udrive offers flexible durations: per minute, per hour, daily, weekly, monthly, and even long-term rentals up to 12 months
