Frequently asked questions
Udrive is a self-drive car rental and car-sharing service in the UAE. Use the Udrive app to find a nearby car, unlock it with your phone, drive, then park and end your trip.
There is no rental counter, security deposit or delivery wait. Fuel is included on most packages, and parking is free in designated public spots.
You can use Udrive if you are at least 21 years old and have a valid driving licence, whether you live in the UAE or are visiting.
Udrive has no membership fee or security deposit. When you add a card, we place an 5 test charge and refund it immediately.
Once Udrive approves your account:
- Open the Udrive app
- Pick a nearby car on the map
- Reserve it, walk up, and unlock it in the app
Udrive offers pay-per-minute, hourly, daily, weekly and monthly car rental options. Prices depend on the vehicle; check live rates in the app or browseOur Fleet.
Fuel is included with pay-per-minute, hourly, daily and weekly Udrive trips. Use the VIP chip when refuelling. Fuel is not included with monthly plans.
Every Udrive trip includes basic insurance. An excess may apply in the event of an incident, and you can add extra cover in the app before driving.
